There is a range of cross-curricular and extra-curricular activities available to students, designed to suit all tastes and needs.

Sixth Form Life   LifeLife

A major reason for choosing Benton Park Sixth Form is obviously the high quality of academic teaching and excellent examination results. However, although to achieve such results students devote a lot of time to their studies, Benton Park offers students much more than simply the opportunity to achieve their academic potential.

Sixth Form life is both challenging and great fun, and offers the chance to develop more fully as human beings and to improve the lives of other members of the community.

The more energy students put into Sixth Form Life the greater their rewards!

Some of these provide the opportunity to further develop an established interest others may provide the opportunity to take a break from the pressures of academic work.

Students are expected to participate fully in the Sixth Form PSCE programme and have timetabled activity periods. Students are also expected to involve themselves in some of the school's extra-curricular activities.

This list is by no means exhaustive, as students each year organise many of their own activities and the Sixth Form is always receptive to good and new ideas.

Community work with handicapped children, the elderly or in local junior schools.
